Aol.com was launched on 24 May 1985

founder of Aol.com is steve Jim Kimsey marc sheriff and William von meister.

According to the net market share, the old-time famous AOL is still in the top 10 search engines with a market share that is close to 0.06%. AOL was acquired by Verizon Communications.

Baidu:

Baidu search engine was launched on 18 January 2000

founder of the Baidu search engine is Robin Li and Eric Xu.

baidu was founded in 2000 and it is the most popular search engine in China. It is currently ranked at position 4, in the Alexa Rankings.

WolframAlpha: 



WolframAlpha search engine was launched on May 18  

it is an online service that answers factual queries directly by computing the answer

WolframAlpha is different than all the other search engines. They market it as a Computational Knowledge Engine which can give you facts and data for a number of topics. It can do all sorts of calculations.

DuckDuckGo:


Duck Duck Go was launched in 2008

It has a number of advantages over the other search engines. Currently, it's market share is at 0.24%.

Internet Archive: archive.org is the internet archive search engine.

Yandex.ru:

Yandex search engine was introduced in 1997

Yandex company was founded in 2009

founder of Yandex is Arkady Volozh.

According to Alexa, Yandex.ru is among the 30 most popular websites on the Internet with a ranking position of 4 in Russia with about 65% market share in that country.
